To determine what version in Internet Explorer you have:
Open your Internet Explorer browser.
Click one time on the Help button in the top navigation
bar.
A drop-down list will appear. Scroll down and select "About
Internet Explorer."
Under the Microsoft Internet Explorer icon, you will see
Version ___.
Please only list the first two numbers that appear in the
line.
To
determine what version of Netscape Communicator you have:
Open your Netscape browser.
Click one time on the Help button in the top navigation
bar.
A drop-down list will appear. Scroll down and select "About
Communicator."
At the top of the page, the version number will appear after
the words Netscape® Communicator.
How
much memory does your computer have?
Right click on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop.
A pop-up window will appear on the screen.
Click on "Properties."
Click on General. You should see a number for RAM.
What
operating system does your computer use?
Right click on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop.
A pop-up window will appear on the screen.
Scroll down and click on "Properties."
A Systems Properties pop-up window will appear on the screen.
Within the window it will say System: Microsoft Windows
___ (for example).
